Description
A 30,000 mAh power bank we assemble ourselves: proven 18650 lithium-ion cells, a 22.5 W fast-charge board and a housing 3D-printed from PETG. That is the kind of capacity that lets you forget about a wall socket for a few days.
What 30,000 mAh actually means
A full charge covers 5–6 phone charges, several top-ups for a tablet, or a whole day of headsets, torches and other small USB gear. In the field that means one pack serves a small team rather than a single device.
22.5 W fast charging
The USB-A output supports Fast Charge and delivers up to 22.5 W: 4.5 V at 5 A, 5 V at 4.5 A, 9 V at 2 A or 12 V at 1.5 A, with the profile picked to match the connected device. USB-C gives up to 20 W (5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 2.22 A, 12 V / 1.67 A). The difference against an ordinary 5 W output shows on the first charge.
Three devices at once
Two USB-A ports and a USB-C sit on the housing, so a phone, a radio and a headset charge together instead of queueing. The pack itself takes whichever cable you happen to have: Type-C, Micro-USB and Lightning inputs are all there.
18650 cells from names you know
Inside are 18650 lithium-ion cells by Samsung, EVE or BAK. This is the part most often cut down on: cheap cells deliver their rated capacity on paper only and lose it fast. We fit cells whose real figures match the datasheet, so the pack's service life runs into hundreds of cycles.
PETG housing
The housing is 3D-printed from PETG, a plastic that takes heat, knocks and daily handling well. The cover is held by screws rather than glue: the pack can be opened and serviced instead of binned once the cells have given what they had.
