This page carries the measurement of the ARXE 300–6000 MHz log-periodic antenna, the larger model in the range. A 500 × 430 mm board covering 300 MHz to 6 GHz — a twenty-to-one span. The half-metre longest element is exactly what makes 300 MHz possible, where a wavelength runs to a full metre.

The measurement covers that entire range and shows how the pattern behaves at the bottom edge, where the antenna is physically largest relative to the wavelength. The interesting stretch here is 300–500 MHz: it holds 433 MHz ISM, PMR handhelds and the lower DVB-T channels — the reason to take this model over the compact one.

What to look for: whether the main lobe keeps its shape at those low frequencies, and how the side-lobe level behaves there. That is the answer to whether the antenna really works from its stated lower edge rather than merely picking something up on it.
