Description
A broadband omnidirectional disc antenna covering 300 MHz to 8 GHz in a single unit — from VHF and UHF up to microwave. One antenna replaces a set of narrowband ones and the swapping between them mid-task.
The circular pattern gives even 360° coverage in the horizontal plane, so the antenna receives from any direction without being aimed. Linear polarisation is compatible with most standard transmitters and receivers.

Construction and connection
The disc construction keeps the radiation characteristics stable across the whole band, without dips in particular segments. At 330 × 330 × 350 mm and 1 kg it can be installed permanently or used as part of a measurement setup.
It connects through an N-type Female connector at 50 Ω — the standard for measurement equipment and high-power paths. The 500 W input rating means it can be used for transmission as well as reception.
